Job Summary
Senior Solution Architect (Konsultuppdrag) in Stockholm with hybrid work arrangement. Role focuses on end-to-end payments solutions within Financial Services, including frontend definition, services/api, backend processing and clearing, and coordinating with architects, tech leads, BAs, POs, Channel Owners and development teams. Requires extensive experience across currencies and jurisdictions, architecture deliverables (target architectures, roadmaps, runways, end-to-end flows), and stakeholder management in large organizations. Must have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, OpenShift) and DevOps, plus experience with traditional waterfall and Scaled Agile environments. Strong communication skills and English fluency are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience as a Solution Architect in Financial Services, ideally in payments or cash management within Investment Banking
- Strong and demonstrable knowledge and experience architecting solutions for a diversity of payments offerings across currencies, jurisdictions, rulebooks, schemas
- Motivated to work on payments flows end to end from definition of the offering in the frontend, through the services and api layer, to the backend processing and clearing
- Strong and demonstrable ability to facilitate or drive the definition and agreement of architectural deliverables such as target architectures, transition architectures, architectural roadmaps, architectural runways, end-to-end flows
- Strong and demonstrable ability to get involved at the detail level in solution design activities with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Channel Owners and Development Teams
- Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, OpenShift) and DevOps
- Collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, able to present solution designs or decisions without all the technical details
- Experienced in managing diverse stakeholders in large organizations and navigating ambiguity, experience in both traditional waterfall Project Management and Scaled Agile environments
- Flexible and open to jump in where needed and help out across the team on topics relating to Payment Channels, Payments Processing Platform and Payments Reporting
- Fluent in English
