Job Summary
Data Engineer with 6-9 years of experience needed to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure and Databricks. Responsibilities include ingesting, transforming, and modeling data from diverse sources for reliable analytics and reporting; developing semantic models and creating Power BI reports; performing data quality checks and ensuring data integrity and security; documenting data engineering processes; supporting data awareness and training; and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions. Requires hands-on Azure, Databricks, SQL, Python, and CI/CD skills, familiarity with data warehousing/modeling and ETL concepts, experience with large data volumes, Power BI, Azure DevOps, and strong communication in Swedish and English. Educational background should include Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. The engagement is a Konsultuppdrag with hybrid remote work in Stockholm/Sweden.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as Data engineer
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Databricks
- SQL
- Python and CI/CD
- Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modeling
- Experience with large data volumes
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL concepts
- Familiarity with Power BI
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, and Azure Storage Explorer
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computational Engineering Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
