Job Summary
Lead Cashier at Soboba Casino Resort responsible for accurately processing guest transactions via Micros POS, supervising cashiers, training staff, and ensuring smooth shift handoffs. Duties include providing a fun, friendly guest experience; rotating and delegating tasks; managing inventory and daily requisitions; performing cash handling and bank maintenance; maintaining knowledge of promotions and health/safety policies; overseeing station cleanliness and equipment use; participating in special events and training team members. Requires 21+ years old, High School diploma or equivalent, 1 year of food service experience, cash handling experience, POS knowledge, and the ability to obtain necessary casino licenses/certifications; compliant with drug testing and required local certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent, required
- A minimum of 1 year of food service experience, preferred
- 6-12 months of cash handling experience, required
- POS knowledge, preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license
- Evidence of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to obtain and maintain County of Riverside Food Handlers Card within seven days of hire
- Ability to obtain and maintain TIPS certification within 60 days of hire
- RBS certification or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire
- Soboba Casino Resort license and regulatory compliance requirements
- Compliance with drug and/or alcohol testing
