Job Summary
Organize and lead practice sessions for junior and senior high school teams to prepare for Knowledge Bowl tournaments. Manage participation in competitions, mentor students on critical thinking and teamwork, and maintain communication with parents and administration. Coordinate fundraising efforts with the ASB, tracking finances and facilitating student engagement in responsible fundraising activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree preferred, valid Washington State background check, and experience in academic competitions. Stipend is $587 annually. This role supports Lake Roosevelt Jr/Sr High School's mission of fostering academic excellence and intellectual curiosity.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a valid Washington State Background check
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a strong background in academic subjects
- Previous experience in academic competitions or as an advisor is a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Passion for education and knowledge
