Job Summary
Associate Technician on 2nd shift supporting Rx Manufacturing and Logistics in a fast-paced ophthalmic production environment. Rotate across workstations and departments (Rx Manufacturing, Logistics) to gain broad understanding of workflows; assist with basic assembly, inspection, packaging, material handling, and inventory tasks under supervision; document minor process steps; track basic metrics; collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and cross-functional teams; adhere to PPE, GMPs, and safety procedures; participate in safety talks and improvement huddles; contribute to team improvements while gaining foundation in safety, quality, and operations within a global eyewear leader.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled full-time in a secondary or post-secondary program in Canada
- Available for full-time, on-site work in production, logistics, or operations
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must meet minimum legal working age
- Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and a strong team player
- Able to rotate across departments and tasks
- Able to follow instructions and stay focused in a safety- and quality-driven setting
