Job Summary
Review daily order paperwork for quantities, colors, due dates, and specific notes. Place spools of thread, cord, or materials on spindles, insert bobbins, and thread ends through machine guides. Position items under needles using marks, clamps, templates, or cloth as guides. Guide garments under machine needles and presser feet to sew parts together. Maintain quality by assuring measurements, sizes, and sew lines are accurate. Lift, pull, shove, and push boxes weighing 10-75 lbs. Work at a fast pace to meet daily production goals while collaborating with the team. Cross-train in various positions as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to work closely with other people
- Must be punctual
- Must have a positive work attitude
- The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position
- Detail oriented
- Must be willing to cross-train in various positions
- Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required
