Job Summary
Knife Department Operator responsible for fabricating, sharpening, and maintaining industrial knives. Duties include brazing carbide blades onto steel bodies, maintaining and calibrating machinery, and ensuring knives meet exact specifications for performance and safety. Must work in a fast-paced environment, lift 50-75 lbs non-continuous, and be able to work as part of a team or individually. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 6a-4:30p. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years in manufacturing with basic math skills; reading micrometers and calipers is preferred.
