Job Summary
Operate tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment to transport product safely and legally from Distribution Centers to vendor destinations in MS, AL, GA, TN, NC, SC, and FL. Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitor freight for secure devices and straps, and provide White Glove service at every delivery. Maintain equipment fueled, tidy, and compliant with DOT, OSHA, and state regulations while keeping all tools and equipment accountable. Submit daily logs, trip reports, and other required documents immediately report damaged product to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager, and communicate any delivery issues up line. Work home weekends with regional drive, adhering to all company policies and trainings.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A with 2 years of experience required within the past 7 years
- Class A CDL required
- Meets FMCSA and company requirements
- Pass Background and Drug Screening
- Clean driving records
- Home weekends, regional drive
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
