Kitting Clerk / Material Handler - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Obtain, identify, and document formed parts from the CNC department and customer-supplied items into a tracking system. Categorize and group parts for each customer order into kits, maintaining a constant flow while prioritizing by due date. Communicate with other departments regarding missing components and pull completed kits for the welding department. Load, unload, and move parts using forklifts, hand trucks, and by hand. This hands-on role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs, with standard hours Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 3:30pm. A pre-employment background check and drug screening are required for all final candidates.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Great attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft applications and outlook
- Ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner
- Ability to work independently while still collaborating with others
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required
