Job Summary
Transport goods and supplies into and around the warehouse to ensure on-time delivery. Deliver general warehouse tasks using material handling equipment to store and record goods per agreed procedures. Perform basic inventory control checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records. Follow mandatory procedures to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct. Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental policies to identify and mitigate workplace risks. Utilize warehouse operating systems to receive, print orders, and locate inventory. Participate in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training. Available for shift 1 from 5am to 2pm. Requires 1-3 years of related job experience and ability to work quickly and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work shift 1 from 5am to 2pm
- Experience operating a variety of material handling equipment (lifting platforms, forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, etc.)
- 1-3 years of related job experience
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Warehouse experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to lift, twist and carry up 50 - 75 pounds
- Ability to manipulate up to 160 pounds of product with material handling equipment
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance
- Adherence to organization's Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) policies
- Ability to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to oneself and others in the workplace
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Warehouse experience preferably working in a distribution environment
