Job Summary
Weigh out raw ingredients according to written work orders and stage them for production while accurately labeling bags with lot numbers, item numbers, and weights. Comply with all food safety, quality, and human safety programs, including GMPs and hazardous substance protocols, by operating forklifts safely and handling knives. Report material quantity or quality issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor to prevent production downtime and follow procedures for foreign material found in products. Maintain organization with strong attention to detail and work independently at a steady pace.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to perform basic math
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Strict adherence to company defined Hazard Control policies and procedures
