Job Summary
Assist chefs with basic food preparation and service while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen and dining areas. Wash, sanitise, and store dishes, utensils, and equipment properly, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Support stock rotation, receive deliveries, empty rubbish bins, and clean food preparation areas, fridges, and ovens. Follow workplace health and safety guidelines and report hazards promptly. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations during dinner and lunch services Monday to Friday. Required Qualifications
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safe work practices
- Previous experience working in a kitchen, café, or catering environment (preferred)
