Job Summary
Prepare and serve food for the Ladore catering program while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Wash dishes and pans as assigned, ensuring all kitchen and dining room areas meet sanitation standards. Adhere to material handling guidelines for chemicals and maintain a neat uniform appearance throughout shifts. Perform related duties as assigned, including assisting with food prep, serving, and dining room care. This role supports the Salvation Army's mission to meet human needs without discrimination, requiring a candidate who can handle a high-paced environment and lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED
- Must pass Servsafe class offered by the Salvation Army
- Must be good with people
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to be on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to handle a high paced and often intense work environment
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environment
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check
- Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training
- Must understand and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army
