Job Summary
Support the Ladore catering program by preparing and serving food, washing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining room areas. Adhere to all sanitation rules, material handling guidelines for chemicals, and food standards while performing assigned tasks. Maintain a neat uniform appearance and demonstrate the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and multitask in a high-paced environment. Requires a high school diploma, Servsafe certification, and completion of Pennsylvania child abuse clearances. Apply online or internally as specified.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED
- Must pass Servsafe class offered by the Salvation Army
- Must be good with people
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to be on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to handle a high paced and often intense work environment
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environment
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check
- Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training
- Must understand and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army
