Job Summary
Kitchen Worker responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing all kitchen and food & beverage areas, operating dishwashing equipment, breaking down and sanitizing wares, following proper sanitation procedures, and supporting banquet operations. Must adhere to Health Department regulations and company safety policies; requires attention to detail, teamwork, and guest-service mindset. Duties include washing pots, pans, utensils; using three-compartment sink procedures; maintaining cleanliness of kitchen hood filters; handling cleaning solvents safely; and standing for extended periods while lifting up to 150 lbs and maneuvering items up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced casino/hotel setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 months experience in high-volume hotel/casino environment preferred
- Basic understanding of sanitation and food-safety
- Ability to operate dishwashing equipment
- Physical stamina to lift, stand, and work in fast-paced environment
- Valid Clark County Health Card
