Job Summary
Kitchen Worker responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing all kitchen and food & beverage areas (including freezers and walk-ins); washing, rinsing, and sanitizing pots, pans, and wares; operating dishwashers and following ware-washing procedures; breaking down and storing dishes; assisting with banquet service and plating; maintaining safe, hygienic conditions and following all health, safety, and department policies; supporting the culinary team and ensuring equipment and kitchen areas are clean; handling cleaning solvents safely, maintaining ventilation, and complying with policies; physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced hotel/casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Minimum of 3 months experience preferable in a high-volume operation in hotel and casino environment
- Skills: Basic understanding of sanitation, food-safety, and proper cleaning practices
- Knowledge of SDS Book and Chemical Usage
- Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and follow ware-washing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to lift, stand, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Valid Clark County Health Card
