Job Summary
Kitchen Worker responsible for assisting with food prep, inventory, sanitation, and general kitchen/dining room duties at a lodge near Fort McMurray. Duties include FIFO inventory practices, cleaning floors and surfaces, taking out garbage, replenishing desserts/beverages/condiments, maintaining kitchen and dining area organization, and reporting damage or theft to Supervisor. Requires kitchen experience and Alberta Food Safety certification; First Aid is an asset. Must communicate effectively in English and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Rotation is 20 days on, 10 days off. Submit resume online.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a kitchen is required
- Food Safety certification valid in the province of Alberta for the duration of your employment is a requirement
- Advance Food Safety is considered an asset
- Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs
