Job Summary
Maintain kitchen and dish room areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition by adhering to cleaning schedules, washing dishes, and keeping floors clear. Wash and store all equipment per policy, maintain dish machine temperature logs, and empty trash. Adhere to standard food safety practices while assisting with food preparation, transportation, and storage of supplies. Work closely with the Executive Chef and/or Executive Director to promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere and assist cooks and wait staff as requested. Attend pre-meal stand-ups prior to service and support special events, banquets, and theme meals. Accept direction from superiors and share job knowledge with others as needed.
