Job Summary
Clear, scrape, and wash china and utensils in the dish room, then air dry and put away items. Clean dish machines, sinks, counters, and work areas; remove garbage and mop floors after meals. Dispose of trash properly, replenish soap and detergent, and help clear dining room tables. Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries while following daily cleaning lists and facility safety rules. Arrive on time, wear the required name tag, and attend staff meetings and in-services. Maintain knowledge of all policies, procedures, and HIPAA compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Employment Certificate/Permit required for applicable individuals
- Prior customer service experience
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Physical stamina necessary for constant activity
- HS diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior food service, hospitality, serving, or restaurant experience desired
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
