Job Summary
Clear, scrape, and wash china and utensils in the dish room, then air dry and put away items used for food service. Clean dish machines, sinks, counters, and work areas; remove garbage and mop floors after each meal. Follow daily cleaning lists and attend facility and staff meetings. Help clear dining room tables, receive and store food deliveries, and replenish soap and detergent. Adhere to safety rules, dress code, and facility policies including HIPAA and Elderwood's values. Utilize the electronic timekeeping system and arrive on time.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Employment Certificate/Permit required for applicable individuals
- Prior customer service experience
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Physical stamina necessary for constant activity
- HS diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior food service, hospitality, serving, or restaurant experience desired
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
