Job Summary
Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment; maintaining cleanliness of the dishwashing area; removing trash and keeping the kitchen organized; assisting kitchen staff during meal preparation and service; restocking chemicals, towels, and soap; and ensuring proper storage of cleaned items. Candidates should have attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required. Education options include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required); a Food Handler Card is a plus. Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Food Handler Card with understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus
- 6-12 months of dishwasher/kitchen support experience is a plus but not required
- Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
