Job Summary
Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) in Cogir Senior Living's kitchen duties include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment; maintaining the cleanliness of the dishwashing area; removing trash and keeping areas organized; assisting kitchen staff by replenishing supplies; and ensuring sanitary operation of surfaces and storage. Requires ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible shifts (weekends/holidays). A Food Handler Card and understanding of kitchen sanitation/food codes are a plus; high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Food Handler Card a plus
- 6-12 months dishwasher/kitchen support experience preferred but not required
- Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
