Kitchen Technician

Job Summary
Disassemble damaged kitchen equipment and perform repairs including rewiring, replacing bearings, and fixing electrical or gas appliances. Implement manufacturer-specified inspections and respond to emergency calls for power or fuel failures while carrying a two-way radio. Interpret operating procedures, communicate failures to management, and analyze discrepancies to keep detailed records. Estimate materials, submit ordering requisitions, and coordinate schedules with other departments to ensure proper work order coverage. Adhere to all property and departmental safety procedures. Two to five years of casino industry experience preferred, with a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Ability to multi-task and think and re-act quickly
- Familiar with tool, equipment and techniques associated with kitchen & related equipment
- Knowledge of standard hand and power tools and equipment used in repair & maintenance of said equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years of related experience in the casino industry as a Kitchen Technician preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot with a multi meter preferred
