Job Summary
Kitchen Team Member responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food, maintaining clean prep stations, managing inventory with proper temperature/shelf-life controls, following food-handling procedures, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced store environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, assisting with opening/closing duties, and cross-training in cash handling and store product presentation to support sales and customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred
- Knife skills and previous restaurant experience are a plus
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to bend down frequently and lift up to 50lbs
- Strong teamwork and punctuality skills
- Able to read, write and speak basic English
- Able to successfully complete consecutive 90-day probationary period
