Job Summary
Kitchen Team Member responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience by maintaining a sanitary and safe back-of-house kitchen and workstation. Roles include dishwashing, prep, cook/sandwich making, hosting, and general customer service, with responsibilities such as following standard recipes, proper dating/labeling, food safety, operating kitchen equipment, handling takeout orders, menu knowledge/testing, and contributing to food and labor cost control. Requires flexible schedules, strong teamwork, professional appearance, and adherence to dress code and policies; training provided to cover duties across items like prep, cooking, slicing, cleaning, and assisting with daily restaurant tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Some high school
- Ability to speak/read/write and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Willingness to learn standard kitchen and food preparation procedures
