Job Summary
Kitchen Team Leader responsible for coordinating the kitchen staff, directing workflow, ensuring adequate production of prepared foods, maintaining food safety, labeling and rotating products, stocking/display readiness, and inventory management. Requires 2+ years of kitchen experience (or 3 years overall), HS diploma/GED preferred (culinary degree preferred), ServSafe and MS Office proficiency preferred; will lead day-to-day kitchen operations, ensure quality and safety, and support store initiatives in a community-owned market.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of line cook, sous chef or chef experience OR three years of kitchen experience required
- High School diploma or GED preferred; culinary degree preferred
- ServSafe certification, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
