Job Summary
Kitchen Team Leader responsible for leading the back-of-house (BOH) operations at Chick-fil-A Cypress Ranch. Lead the BOH team to deliver safe, high-quality food with speed, accuracy, and consistency while upholding Chick-fil-A standards. Role emphasizes kitchen operations execution, food safety/ sanitation, coaching and developing team members, and partnering with Front of House to ensure smooth service. Opportunity for growth through leadership development and advancement into director-level roles. Requires minimum Chick-fil-A leadership experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to work 40+ hours weekly, and strong communication and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Chick-fil-A experience required, including a minimum of one (1) year of Chick-fil-A shift-leading experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Experience operating commercial kitchen and service equipment
- Strong understanding of food safety standards
- Comfortable using kitchen technology, including POS and KDS systems
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize without constant supervision
- Dependable, adaptable, and solution-oriented
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Willingness to work in hot and cold environments
- ServSafe certification a plus
