Job Summary
Oversee and administer food service operations in a correctional facility kitchen, ensuring health, sanitation, and safety standards are met. Manage facility-provided labor, perform daily inventory and tracking logs, handle stock levels and reorders, conduct quality checks, and maintain professional relationships with jail administration and staff. Requires excellent cooking skills, reliability to meet deadlines, strong communication (oral and written), basic math, and proficiency with Excel. Physical requirements include standing for 3-4 hours and frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. Paid training provided; benefits available; 21+ years old; background check and drug screen required. Remote work is not allowed.
