Job Summary
As a Kitchen Supervisor, you are responsible for scheduling kitchen workload for timely meal preparation and clean-up, training and supervising kitchen personnel on cooking techniques and food safety, maintaining kitchen equipment, performing inventory management, managing vendor relations, overseeing petty cash for food purchases, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring compliance with personnel policies and safety regulations. You must have a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of relevant experience, and a valid California driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Must have High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year experience in institutional cooking with management responsibilities
- Must hold valid California drivers license and be able to show proof of insurance
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and driving record required

- Graduate of an accredited food service program

- Ability to stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
