Job Summary
The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for assigning and directing the work of kitchen associates, training them to maximize productivity and minimize waste. Key responsibilities include inspecting daily use records with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef, pulling food needed for daily production, ensuring effective communication with staff, maintaining good housekeeping practices, inspecting workstations, and preparing daily production charts. The role requires excellent supervisory skills to coach, train, and discipline employees as necessary, effective communication in English, and the ability to operate kitchen equipment while managing physical demands of lifting and moving goods.
