Job Summary
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including pre-shift standups, attendance documentation, and timekeeping approvals. Manage crew scheduling, conduct team assessments for training needs, and handle guest complaints or incident reports. Ensure facility cleanliness, maintain food quality standards, and coordinate with managers on ride audits and inventory counts. Support the General Manager in maximizing resources and ensuring schedule adherence. This part-time role requires evenings, weekends, and holidays, with hours determined by the General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be available for evenings, weekends and some holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to complete standups meetings pre-shift
- Must be able to document attendance issues following attendance policy
- Must be able to ensure inspections are completed
- Must be able to verify that the park is clean
- Must be able to delegate cleaning duties to team members
- Must be able to approve times
- Must be able to ensure that management staff at your facility are approving clock-in/out punches each shift
- Must be able to complete daily schedule template the previous day
- Must be able to assess team and move crew around as needed
- Must be able to assess team for training and re-training needs
- Must be able to field guest complaints
- Must be able to complete incident reports
- Must be able to assist Operations Managers in completion of guest and team member incident reports
- Must be able to ensure reports are completed and turned in within 24 hours
- Must be able to ensure team members who are injured are retrained if that was the cause
- Must be able to call Safety Manager immediately if team member needs medical attention
- Must be able to work alongside crew as needed
- Must be able to fill in for breaks as needed
- Must be able to support GMs goal of ensuring team meets or exceeds turn over times
- Must be able to assist with ride audits if needed
- Must be able to retrain/coach as needed
- Must be able to update standup meeting info
- Must be able to communicate to other operations managers if something is added or changed
- Must be able to ensure facility is well maintained
- Must be able to notify GM if something needs to be fixed
- Must be able to assist with weekly inventory counts
- Must be able to maintain food quality and presentation
- Must be able to ensure all kitchen staff stay current on training and certifications
- Must be able to lead, manage, and retain crew members within its department
- Must be able to perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
- Must be able to schedule crew members for designated location
