Job Summary
Kitchen Steward cleans and sanitizes dishes, pots, utensils, and related equipment; operates dish machine or washes by hand; cleans work surfaces and floors; handles trash and recyclables; assists with banquet setup and additional kitchen duties; requires safety-conscious practices, knowledge of food-handling/sanitation, and ability to communicate effectively with team members. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, Oregon food handler certification, and a low-security gaming license; role is on-site in Grand Ronde, OR. Must be 16+ and able to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to follow policies, safety and regulatory requirements; provides support to guest services and culinary operations as part of a non-exempt, full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- three (3) months related work experience
- Low-security gaming license issued by the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission
- State of Oregon Food Handler’s Certificate
- Must be at least 16 years of age
