Job Summary
Operate dish-washing equipment to ensure china, glass, and silver are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized. Wash pots, pans, and kitchen utensils following proper procedures, then store them in their designated locations. Replace clean dishware in storage areas with care to minimize breakage. Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and restaurant, while maintaining cleanliness in the back dock and dumpster area. Empty garbage from Food and Beverage zones into the hotel dumpster. Maintain a friendly demeanor at all times and perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
