Job Summary
Operate dish-washing equipment to ensure china, glass, and silver are cleaned and sanitized, then replace items in proper storage to minimize breakage. Wash pots, pans, and kitchen utensils following established procedures, sweeping and mopping kitchen and restaurant floors. Empty garbage from food and beverage areas into the hotel dumpster and maintain cleanliness in the back dock and dumpster zone. Maintain a friendly demeanor at all times while performing other assigned tasks. Work in a high-pressure environment requiring clear communication and composure under stress.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
