Job Summary
Operate dish-washing equipment to ensure china, glass, and silver are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized. Wash pots, pans, and kitchen utensils following proper procedures, then store them in designated locations. Replace clean china, glass, and silver in storage areas with care to minimize breakage. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, back dock, dumpster area, and sweep and mop floors. Empty garbage from Food and Beverage areas into the hotel dumpster. Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Work in a high-pressure environment at the DoubleTree by Hilton near Universal Orlando, supporting kitchen staff in maintaining sanitation standards and food storage rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
