Job Summary
As a Kitchen Staff Substitute, support on-call kitchen operations and assist with setup of serving lines, food preparation per menu and Opaa! recipes, and maintaining quality presentation. Operate equipment (slicers, mixers, grinders) with proper certification, stock and rotate inventory using FIFO, hold foods at required temperatures, prepare bakery items as needed, set up serving lines, and assist customers with serving sizes. Maintain clean, organized kitchen and cafeteria spaces; follow HACCP and HHFKA/CACFP regulations; monitor temperatures and safety logs. Assist with administrative tasks such as timekeeping and cash handling, complete required trainings, and uphold Opaa!'s core values. Flexible, on-demand support across locations as assigned.
