Job Summary

Assist with daily set-up of serving lines, prepare foods per menu plans and recipes, and operate slicers, mixers, and other equipment with proper certification. Maintain clean and organized kitchen and cafeteria areas, including equipment and dishes, while practicing First In/First Out (FIFO) procedures for inventory. Batch cook items to ensure quality presentation and serve customers with proper sizes and utensils. Handle customer monies, run cash registers, and complete daily paperwork, tray counts, and meal reconciliation tasks. Submit hours worked via ADP or edit sheets and notify DNS 24 hours in advance of shift cancellations. Adhere to HACCP processes, food safety logs, and safety rules outlined in the Safety Procedure Manual.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
