Job Summary
Kitchen Staff needed to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering. Perform all kitchen positions and operate equipment such as slicers, mixers, grinders with proper certification. Ensure food is held at correct temperatures, prep per menu/recipes, batch cook, present to customers, and maintain FIFO and clean, organized workspaces. Maintain HACCP food safety logs, monitor temperatures, and follow HHFKA/CACFP regulations. Assist with inventory and requisition of food and supplies; handle cash/register duties as required; participate in daily dish and cleanliness routines; adapt to varying pay rates by state. Requires attention to safety and adherence to Opaa! Core Values and timekeeping policies. Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one-month related experience, training, or equivalent. Physical demands include standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
