Job Summary
Kitchen Staff responsibilities include preparing breakfast and/or lunch offerings, assisting with serving lines, participating in occasional catering functions, and performing all kitchen roles as needed. Duties involve setting up serving lines, ensuring proper food temperatures, operating equipment (slicers, mixers, grinders) with proper certification, following menu plans and Opaa! recipes, batch cooking, maintaining FIFO inventory, keeping areas clean, and complying with food safety and HACCP procedures. The role supports hospitality through quality presentation and customer service, with opportunities to handle cash/ POS as part of administrative duties. Requires adherence to Opaa!’s values and participation in required trainings; education commonly includes High School Diploma or GED or related experience.
