Job Summary
Kitchen Staff responsible for preparing breakfast and/or lunch offerings, assisting with serving lines, and participating in occasional catering functions. Works across all kitchen positions, operates slicers/mixers/grinders with proper certification, maintains food at required temperatures, stocks milk coolers, follows recipes and menu plans, supports batch cooking and food presentation, maintains clean and organized work areas, and supports HACCP and daily production records. Requires completing required training hours, handling cashier duties when needed, and upholding Opaa!’s core values while complying with timekeeping and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment with proper certification
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
- Experience with batch cooking and serving lines
- Experience in inventory management and FIFO procedures
- Ability to read and follow menu plans and recipes
