Job Summary
The Kitchen Staff (1) is responsible for the preparation and cleaning of plates, glassware, and silverware, ensuring the dining area is ready for service. Duties include setting up and operating dishwashing equipment, washing and storing kitchen items, maintaining cleanliness of work areas, handling garbage removal, and adhering to health regulations. The role requires effective communication skills, initiative, and the ability to operate kitchen equipment while contributing to a safe and friendly environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to operate small kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, and cutters
- Good organizational skills required
- Ability to work odd, irregular hours in a restaurant environment
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license or state ID
- Ability to stand, bend and carry items weighing from 50-80 pounds
- Willingness to cross train for all CTP positions as assigned by management
