Job Summary
Assist the Chef by preparing party trays and helping with deli salad and catering production while maintaining a clean, organized environment and minimizing food waste. Plan and direct food preparation, cook or directly supervise skillful item preparation, and engage in standing or walking for 6-8 hours. Maneuver weight up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced setting requiring continuous interaction with co-workers. Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. A criminal background check is required.
Required Qualifications
- 18 or older
- Friendly and a team player
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Engage in standing/walking 6-8 hours at a time
- Ability to maneuver weight up to 50 pounds
- Schedule may entail evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass a required criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous food preparation experience preferred
- Knowledge of proper cooking techniques
- Knowledge of perishables, product rotation, and safe food handling practices
- Intermediate cooking and knife handling skills
