Job Summary
Prepare and plate Alamo menu items according to recipes and specs, rotating through assigned stations including dish, prep, fry, grill, pizza, and salad. Execute cleaning, organization, and deep maintenance of equipment and dishwashing areas while restocking supplies and completing prep side work. Manage guest food orders with a focus on safety, quality, accuracy, and efficiency, adhering to strict allergy and cross-contamination protocols. Communicate kitchen needs and concerns regularly to teammates and managers. Work nights, weekends, and holidays with flexible scheduling, lifting up to 50 pounds and operating in a busy environment. This tip-shared role includes 20% of the total tip pool.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at one time and repeatedly during entire shift
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days a week, at least one day being a weekend)
- Ability to move with caution and operate in a busy/sometimes loud environment
- Stays up-to-date on all local food compliance regulations, safety courses, and assigned online trainings
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to climb stairs
- 1+ years of experience in high volume restaurant environment
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
