Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment. Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring they are returned to their proper places in a timely manner. Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks like peeling vegetables and portioning ingredients. Help with the delivery and storage of food items, ensuring all items are stored according to food safety standards. Stock Management: Assist in receiving deliveries and checking stock, ensuring that items are correctly labeled and stored. Keep track of kitchen supplies and notify the manager when stock levels are low. Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals, safety equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and notify the manager of any maintenance issues. Support the kitchen team during busy periods, ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently.
