Job Summary
Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, wash pots, pans, and trays by hand or machine, and maintain complete cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, cutting boards, and other food prep surfaces while sweeping and mopping floors to ensure safety and sanitation compliance. Sort and stack clean dishes, carry them to storage, remove trash to designated containers, and transfer supplies between storage and work areas. Maintain temperatures and chemical levels per provided standards. Assist in kitchen areas as needed, follow health and safety guidelines, and comply with all food safety procedures. This part-time role requires Sunday shifts and involves lifting up to 30 pounds. Join our boutique off-premise caterer dedicated to international cuisine and exceptional service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimal work experience
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
- Flexible shift hours
