Job Summary
Wash pots, pans, plates, glassware, and kitchen utensils efficiently using commercial dishwashers and hand-washing stations. Maintain clean, sanitised work surfaces, walls, floors, and storage areas throughout the shift, supporting daily opening, closing, and deep-cleaning routines. Assist the kitchen team in receiving, inspecting, and storing fresh produce and dry goods, ensuring stock and crockery are organised for chefs. Empty bins regularly, sort recycling properly, and uphold strict hygiene standards in line with UK legislation. Work closely with chefs, kitchen runners, and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow while remaining calm and organised under pressure.
