Job Summary
Oversee Back of House operations in a Texas Roadhouse kitchen, ensuring adherence to established recipes and procedures while managing purchasing, receiving, and presentation of food items. Direct a team of BOH staff, enforce safety and cleanliness standards, monitor ticket times, control food and labor costs, and conduct performance evaluations. Provide training and development for managers and hourly employees, schedule work hours, and uphold the restaurant’s core values and high standards of food quality and guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- experience supervising Back of House operations
- knowledge of food safety and safe handling procedures
- ability to manage inventory, food costs, and labor costs
- experience with training and developing kitchen staff
- ability to oversee purchasing, receiving, and presentation of food products
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to enforce policies and maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
