Job Summary
Kitchen Manager role at Tailwind Concessions, a national airport-food concept, leading a high-performing kitchen team to deliver consistent food quality, great service, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include training and supervising kitchen staff, scheduling, communicating with the GM, ensuring food quality and presentation, managing inventory and ordering, controlling costs, maintaining equipment, and enforcing safe, legal alcohol service. Requires ServSafe certification, 2 years of culinary experience (preferably in kitchen management), ability to work 40 hours per week (with some weekends), and the stamina to perform in a standing position; location in Jackson, WY with on-site operations.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years culinary experience, preferably kitchen management
- ServSafe certified
- Ability to pass background check
- Standing for long periods (minimum 8 hours)
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Minimum 40 hours per week; some weekend days; mornings/evenings
- Experience in inventory management, ordering, and stocking
- Strong leadership, training, and coaching skills
- Safety and compliance with food safety standards and alcohol service
