Job Summary
Lead, train, and mentor BOH team members; assign shifts, stations, and daily tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations; coach performance and provide feedback; foster a positive, professional, and safety-focused kitchen culture; lead and participate in team meetings and training sessions; ensure food is prepared, cooked, and plated to Luna Grill standards; rotate across stations (grill, flattop, fryer, line); maintain strict food safety and sanitation; complete required audits, logs, and operational checklists; support catering orders, events, and operational planning; manage inventory, stock levels, and product rotation (FIFO); control food and labor costs through proper planning; monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs; ensure compliance with labor laws and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Food Handler / ServSafe certification required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Minimum 3–5 years of restaurant or BOH experience; management experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and lead under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
- Experience with systems like Microsoft Office, Dayforce, Sysco, or similar
