Job Summary
Conduct main preparation functions at a production kitchen for meals served to students and staff, including food preparation, clean-up, and record-keeping. Assist with preparation, meal service, and clean-up procedures for nutritious and attractive meals according to USDA Child Nutrition program guidelines. Maintain compliance with USDA and local guidelines while managing daily operations for the Nutrition Services team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds
- Basic math skills
- Computer applications experience
- Certification with the American Food Service Association at Level 3 within three years of date of hire
